Dr. Allabban received his M.D. degree from the University of Damascus in 2000; completed his internal medicine residency at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2007 to work as a hospitalist in the valley. He worked for almost 3 years at Banner University Medical Center. After finishing his rheumatology training at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2014, he moved with his family back to Arizona, and started his rheumatology practice in Chandler.

Dr. Allabban was trained by top doctors in the field of rheumatology, Professor Mehrdad Maz who joined the KU as the division director from the Mayo Clinic, Professor Herbert Lindsley, Dr. Jason Springer who joined the KU from the Cleveland Clinic, and Dr. John D. Martinez.

Since he started his practice, Dr. Allabban has diagnosed and treated many patients with common rheumatologic diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis and gout, and rare diseases such as SLE, scleroderma, autoimmune inflammatory myositis, and vasculitis.
